Very creamy and hydrating with a lovely texture.

This is unlike any other primer I own. Aside from the absolutely GORGEOUS packaging the product itself is so nice for my dry skin. It sinks in quickly and makeup applies beautifully over the top of it. Couldn't be more pleased:)

Very fragranced

The texture is really funny, it does work like a usual primer would, but the fragrance is a big minus for me. As someone who can't handle much fragrance in face products, I have to say i wouldn't reccomend for someone who's as sensitive as me!

It lives up to its name.

This primer is very hydrating, and despite being silicone based, feels more like a moisturizer when you apply it. In comparison to other silicone primers I’ve tried, it creates a much more natural finish when I apply foundation on top of it. I appreciate the fact that it seems to help my base products melt into my skin instead of sitting on top. It makes it look like I’m not wearing any, which is both good and bad I guess. While I’m happy not to have any cakey-ness or weird textures, it also seems to “dilute” my foundation a bit. The result is that while my skin tone is more even (I have rather red cheeks), it has less coverage than with other primers. Blemishes are more visible than they used to be and I can see all of my freckles, which I don’t really mind. I am hoping to test it with other foundations and see if I can find a combination that offers fuller coverage while still creating a more dewy or satin finish. I will update if possible when I do. Overall, still a very nice product, and the jar is to die for! The detailing is stunning and it’s very sturdy. I will be reusing it in the future.
